- So, about Britney leaving the stage.
- I don't think I ever actually went into details of what happened.
- Okay, so this chick comes onto the stage.
- Simon: What's your name?
- Contestant: Winter!
- Best Friend: omg. She's a stripper.
- Me: Shut up!
- Simon: So, tell us about you!
- Winter: I'm forty-two years old and I work as a waitress at Men's Club in Dallas.
- Best friend: AHAHA
- They did a little bit more intros, and then, came this:
- Simon: So, what are you going to sing today?
- Winter: Well.. since Britney's one of the judges, I'm going to sing Hold It Against me.
- Me: omg
- Best Friend: This is either gonna be good or awful
- Britney: *awkward laugh*
- music: *start*
- Winter: *immediately starts off* He~ey, Over The~~~re. (She's kind of howling) Please forgive me if I ge- wait, I forgot the words to the song
- Me: omg D:
- Winter: *crouches down* Hey, can I start this over again?
- Simon: Ok.............
- Winter: yeah, I just learned this song two days ago.
- Music: *starts again*
- Winter: ~He~~y Over the~~re, please forgii~ve me if I'm comi~ng on too st-
- Okay, she started butchering the lines again. She tried to fumble along for a bit more. Suddenly, out of pity, the audience starts singing along with her because it's obvious she doesn't know the song at all despite having her lyric sheet out in front of her. During this, Britney gets out of her chair, Jason runs up toward her, and then they walk off stage.

We saw this mess perform yesterday. Bless. He was really into it and had good energy, but..had little-to-no enunciation skills.

kind of glad i get to see her the last round of auditions cause of this. i feel like it’ll just take her some time to settle into the role

follow the dress code, strictly. you wanna get down there? spring colors helps.
and, see if you can get x tickets, that way you can actually get close to the stage/judge’s table. It was so frustrating not to be able to get close. I mean, we got within 50 feet, but still.
Furthermore, get there at least two hours early and prepare to wait to get in and whatnot.
Finally, once you actually get into the area, instead of following people down stairs, climb over seats (don’t get caught tbh!). Yeah, it sounds slightly barbaric - but do you want good seats or not? I was one row away from the floor group. I could see everything perfectly.

No, I don’t think it’s even remotely foreshadowing her future critiques or stint as a judge. It seemed to me that something might’ve come up. She seemed distressed to me. IDK.
However, I must admit: she wasn’t exactly forthcoming with her critiques, but she was involved. It seemed that Simon frequently whispered in her ear, even. However, when it came down to her critiques, she tended to be brief and short. She tended to stay positive on most of everything, and saying “I love it!”. But, even so, she didn’t do so on every performance.
For example, this one guy decided to butcher You and I … and while everyone else was like just being kinda mean, she was like, “Well, you know maybe if you had a teacher…it wouldn’t have been so awful.” It was actually quite humorous.
I think, though, that it possibly was simply a case of nerves. Furthermore, I’m certain that as time goes on, she’ll ease into the role of judge and be a lot more forthcoming.
But, yeah. She definitely is in ‘sweet, slightly-awkward-ney phase’. Yet, I think she’s getting her charisma back. She definitely seemed a lot more open and whatnot that what I recall.
And, might I note - it felt like most of the audience was simply there to see Britney. And boy were we upset when she left.

So, after this stripper named “Winter” butchered Hold It Against Me, Britney suddenly took ill ( or something) and left. She was like..clutching onto Jason (or maybe just walking quickly by him?)
She didn’t come back, though. Towards the end, the entire audience, including myself (well, I did it a lot, oop) was changing, “where’s Britney???”
