‘Doctor Who’ AU meme: ‘You’re not The Doctor, John. It’s just a story in your head.’

- My new who? Robert, you know that I don’t deal with patients now. My duties are administrative.
- Not anymore. Anyway: John Smith, 29 years old. He got his PhD when he was 21. In Astrophysics, whatever that is. IQ over 155. Two years ago he was in a car accident. He was the only one who made it, two of his friends died. He left hospital after a month, seemed to be coping just fine. 3 weeks later he went missing, they found him after a few days, he was sitting inan old police phone box. He kept talking about his dead friends. He believes that the girl - he calls her Rose - is trapped in some kind of a parallel universe. As for his other friend, Jack… He died, but then was brought to life and now he’s immortal.
- But if it’s trauma after the accident then why is he here?
- It’s not just that. He seems to… He created another world in his head. He says that he’s a… time lord, the last of the time lords. He claims he can travel in time and space, that he can change his face and body. So far no one can help him. They kept on sending him from one psychiatric hospital to another. Listen, I think you… we can help him.
